TREE REMOVAL

Stump Grinding
Stump grinding is usually the final step in the tree removal process. Our crew will cut the stump as low to the ground as possible. Once the machine is maneuvered into place a rotating wheel will be engaged and the grinding will commence.
Once engaged, the cutter wheel will work back and forth over the stump. The typical stump will be grinded to a depth of 6-8 inches below the existing land grade. After the stump grinding process is done, the mulch will be raked into a pile and left to settle. The remaining mulch can be used as fill or weed control in wooded or natural areas, and most of our clients find a use for it somewhere on their property. If there is no suitable use for them on your property, we can haul the stump grindings away for an additional charge.
